Assign tasks and forms to guests without a project

I want to be able to assign tasks and forms to participants (guests) without having to create a 'dummy' project first. Currently, guests only see 'Projects' and 'My files' unless a project is created and forms are added to it. It would be very useful to skip the project creation step for simple task/form assignments.
