Create another activity group, which is day-based that triggers from the date to date fields when selected.

For example, if someone wants:

Vacation

Vacation 60+

Time off with pay

Time off without pay

Also that admin can approve or reject days that come... and in the list instead of 5 hours, it says 5 days when that activity is in use.

Here also comes a little mtp quota on vacation, etc. to play (if you want to create an entire absence section that is day-based). Then you must have a small case for each user/employee.

Vacation days to the credit: 25

Vacation days carried over from the previousyear: 3

Vacation days_used:

Vacation_days_planned:

Etc... so you get a total overview per employee in a calendar and for the employee to follow their own quotas.
