Calendar in app and web for project

Want the project to be displayed over several days when the start and end dates are specified in the project.

A project may cover a longer period, e.g. January to December, but you will only be working on it in February, May, and October. How can you view the activities you are supposed to be there for, but also easily create them without having to punch everything in again each time from the project?
